Biography:
Born 1948 near Bremen. Education for drawing, studies at Hamburg. Since 1973 freelance film maker, artist, cameraman, actor, author, publisher and producer in Germany and the United States. Many exhibitions, retrospectives, lectures and publications. Since 1974 working on the encylopedic drawing series The basis of Make-up. 1978 founding of the production company Pym Films. Since 1993 professor for experimental film directing at the college of arts Berlin.
