Filmstill, "Prüfstand 7", directed by Robert Bramkamp; The first successful launch of the rocket into the universe in october 1942 is a load off General Dornberger's mind. After that he lost his voice. Robert Foster (Go Betweens) is singing " Descent". The text is based on the last page of Thomas Pynchon's novel Gravity's Rainbow.

Biography:
Born 1961 in Westphalia, studied film and German literature. In 1988 he became Master eleve of Lutz Mommartz, Muenster Art Academy. Since 1983 Robert Bramkamp has written and directed 10 films His first full length feature "Yellow Sort" was produced by 'Das Kleine Fernsehspiel' in 1986. From 1989 to 1990 he created and produced an independent TV-program: "One, No-One, 100 000". "The Conquest of the Centre", his second feature, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival '95. In 1996 Bramkamp was teaching alternative narratives in art / film at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design . Since 1998 he is teaching film directing at the HFF in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
