Biography: Born 1963 1982 – 1990, study of physics at the University of Stuttgart 1994, doctorate at the University of Stuttgart (theme: “Three neutron-produced reactions in stars”) 1994 – 1995, post doctorate work at the Centre de Spectroscopie Nucléaire et Spectroscopie des Masses, Orsay, France. Since 1995, academic at the ion beam laboratory of the Hahn-Meitner Institute, focusing on: accelerator technology and use of ion beams, in particular ion beam analysis of art-historical objects.
